It has been quite a while since the last update.

The latest addition is a comprehensive design project brief from Myers Grove School Technology Department. The aim is to build a model of a bungalow and fit an intruder alarm. The student then programs the computer to control the alarm system. The download also includes the complete skeleton program for the project.

The Archive is very grateful for all the dedication and hard work of Diminished from the StarDot Forum in writing and maintaining the Quadbike package. This amazing piece of software allows BBC cassette tapes to be easily preserved as CSW files. Quadbike is now the default method used by the Archive for preserving BBC tapes

Two packages from unknown publishers and unknown programmers were added. The packages were;

• Sentence Scan

Updated the download for Ashby Drop Disc A25 to include an image of the same disc made for Ticknall School, also added the documentation for Chalksoft's Words and Pictures.

Another Alternative Software title, Thomas the Tank Engine's Fun with Words has also been uploaded.

The broken links on the website have all been detected and corrected.

Sooty and Sweep's Fun with Numbers by Alternative Software is the latest addition.

Thanks to Dave E of the www.everygamegoing.com website, a number of dead download links have been identified as well as missing disc images in the downloads. These have been fixed. The whole website is currently being checked and repaired where necessary, so please bear with me. New items will continue to be added during the checking.

The first offering of 2025 is a title from David Pilling Software, Image Master. This came bundled with a Mustek 600 II EP flat bed scanner for RISCOS 3.x operating system computers with a bi-directional printer port. At the Archive the system used to test the software and scanner was a 4Mb, 25Mz A5000 computer system. This is in the RISCOS-Applications section.
