MAPE Focus onƯ Home School Links, to be published in Summer 2001, looks
at some of those aspects where ICT can help teaching and learning beyond
the classroom walls. We have articles about web sites and email being
used between, and by, parents and children; projects to help Traveller
children; a children's hospital exploiting access to the web and
video-conferencing to support their continuing education. There is also
articles covering research and projects into using ICT to support
partnerships between parents and school, from nursery to KS2; the use of
targetted URLs to support homework, and much more.
